Barbara Manning has been a Peninsula resident for over twenty-five years, and provides her clients with unparalleled enthusiasm, warmth and wisdom. Her passion for real estate began while she was a graduate student on the East Coast when she invested in several New England properties, including small town homes and multi-family residences. Working with local architects and landscapers, she tastefully renovated each property before placing them on the market.
Barbara has always been a trailblazer, and was one of the first women to earn a PhD in Computer Science before spending two decades working in leadership positions in Silicon Valley technology companies.
Barbara has continued her passion for real estate by investing in Bay Area properties, and earned her California real estate license in 2007. Her market knowledge, business savvy, and negotiation skills bring her clients a wealth of experience.
Barbara is involved in several local community activities, and supports several non-profit organizations. She is actively involved in providing summer camp experiences for middle school age girls interested in science and technology, and is an avid hiker who participates in several half marathons each year.
Barbara shares her time between Los Altos and San Francisco.
